There’s a display of the plans for the redevelopment of the former Buckland Paper Mill site open to the public tomorrow (24th June 2009) from 1pm until 9pm. It’s in the old Mill Manager’s house at the site and is well worth a quick visit. The public consensus seems to be of positive approval for the plans, with most people expressing a wish for them to just ‘get on with it’ as soon as possible! Tucked away in a corner of Pencester Gardens is a phenomenally successful Dover dance school – CJ’s Dance and Fitness. Last night was CJ’s 15th annual show at The Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone. The show starred about 300 (yes, that’s three hundred!) young Dovorians, and was attended by nearly nine hundred parents, grandparents, family and friends.
